The Mary Philippa Brazill Foundation was established in 1993 for the
purpose of providing financial support for research and education in
ethics with an emphasis on the ethics of health care and with special
regard to the promotion of these activities in Catholic institutions
The Trustees of the Foundation invite applications for Grants for
2014 from individuals in their personal capacity and as representatives
institutions wishing to sponsor scholars and conferences.

Recipients of the grants awarded in 2014:
- Dr Natasha Michael, Director of Palliative Care – Cabrini Health, Associate Professor Clare O’Callaghan – Senior Research Associate in Palliative Care – Cabrini Health, and Ms Julia Trimboli, Director of Mission Services – Cabrini Health: Awarded a grant of $2,000 to engage research assistance in a collaborative research project in 2015 to explore the possible role and function of a clinical ethics consultation service within a Catholic health care institution.
